( Added:Tue Aug 28 2007)
|
| Tangs are often called surgeon fish because of the scalpel-like spine at the base of its tail. The Blue Hepatus Tang is a rich blue color with contrasting black and yellow stripes. Requires a lot of algae. A tank with rocks and decor to provide several hiding spots and plenty of swimming space is recommended. Tangs tend to be most aggressive towards fish of similar form and color. To minimize aggression in a small aquarium it is recommended to have only one Tang. |
